 Career Notes
I have worked in Hollywood as both a writer and director for more than twenty years. During that time I've written seven feature films, three movies for television, and worked on one television series as a staff writer. I've directed two feature films, one cable movie, and multiple episodes of over fifteen primetime series. I have received a Humanitas Award for directing an episode of L.A. LAW, and a Hugo Award (Oscars for Science Fiction) for directing an episode of BABYLON 5.
As my directing career gained momentum, I began to mentor other women who shared that dream. I have taught directing seminars in both the U.S. and Canada. In addition, I have coached beginning screenwriters, and taught screenwriting at the university level in California and Oregon.
